Shri Vitthalbhai Savadas Patel started Patel Engineering Works a small unit for fitting and repairing small Sugar Plants in 1975 to 1987.
- In 1988 he Launched a new Company named Patel Manufacturing Company in Which he started producing sugarcane Crushers for Jaggery(Gur) and launched a new brand Om Kailash and the first product was Om Kailash No.2.
- Then the Company Produced another two models (a) Om Kailash No.1 (1991). (b) Om Kailash no.4 (1993).
- These two models also got unexpected response in whole Gujarat.
- In 1995 Om Kailash No.2 was exported to Maharashtra and during year 2000 Latest Heavy Model. Om Kailash No.2 Total Heavy was regularly supplied to states like Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh & Karnataka.
